Tribute To Our Late Founder Brother Datuk Lawrence Spitzig

1918-2009
The founder of SMK La Salle Petaling Jaya has left us on 18th August 2009. Born in Toronto, Canada and left his hometown in the year of 1937 to become a missionary and teacher.
Bro. Lawrence dedicated his entire life to education and youth. From St. Joseph's Institute, Singapore 1938 to St. John's Institution in 1941, Bro Lawrence served as Brother Director of St. John's from 1954-1960 and 1978-1983 ; St. Xavier's Institution Penang (1960-1967) then to La Salle PJ (1967-1974)

Since retirement from active duties, he spent most of his traveling to Sabah and involved himself in the Education Project at Kampung Songsogon. He resided at the Brothers' Community at St. John's until he relocated to the home of The Little Sisters of the Poor in Cheras, K.L. as a matter of convenience.

In February, 2004 Bro. Lawrence was a made a Member of the Order of Canada, the country's highest honour for life time achievement. And later was awarded the Panglima Mahkota Wilayah (PMW) which carries the title "Datuk" by the Yand di-Pertuan Agong. Also the
"Jasamu Dikenang" award during this year's Teacher's Day celebrations.

Brother Lawrence, Good Bye. Rest In Peace and may God be with you.

Please sign at the "Comments" column below to express and say any kind words. Thank you.

H1N1

Influenza A(H1N1) is spreading throughout Malaysia and also the world. It is now known as The 2009 Flu Pandemic. Some even said that 2 Form 3 Lasallians were infected by H1N1.. maybe their friends are trying to pull their legs.. or maybe it's true. I don't know.. Assunta Primary yes.. But no one officially said anything about our boys getting it.

Well, here is a little something I found on Swine Flu

Swine Flu

What is Swine Influenza?
Swine Influenza (swine flu) is a respiratory disease of pigs caused by type A influenza virus that regularly causes outbreaks of influenza in pigs. Swine flu viruses cause high levels of illness and low death rates in pigs. Swine influenza viruses may circulate among swine throughout the year, but most outbreaks occur during the late fall and winter months similar to outbreaks in humans. The classical swine flu virus (an influenza type A H1N1 virus) was first isolated from a pig in 1930.

How many swine flu viruses are there?
Like all influenza viruses, swine flu viruses change constantly. Pigs can be infected by avian influenza and human influenza viruses as well as swine influenza viruses. When influenza viruses from different species infect pigs, the viruses can reassort (i.e. swap genes) and new viruses that are a mix of swine, human and/or avian influenza viruses can emerge. Over the years, different variations of swine flu viruses have emerged. At this time, there are four main influenza type A virus subtypes that have been isolated in pigs: H1N1, H1N2, H3N2, and H3N1. However, most of the recently isolated influenza viruses from pigs have been H1N1 viruses.

Swine Flu in Humans

Can humans catch swine flu?
Swine flu viruses do not normally infect humans. However, sporadic human infections with swine flu have occurred. Most commonly, these cases occur in persons with direct exposure to pigs (e.g. children near pigs at a fair or workers in the swine industry). In addition, there have been documented cases of one person spreading swine flu to others. For example, an outbreak of apparent swine flu infection in pigs in Wisconsin in 1988 resulted in multiple human infections, and, although no community outbreak resulted, there was antibody evidence of virus transmission from the patient to health care workers who had close contact with the patient.

How common is swine flu infection in humans?
In the past, CDC received reports of approximately one human swine influenza virus infection every one to two years in the U.S., but from December 2005 through February 2009, 12 cases of human infection with swine influenza have been reported. For information on the number of probable and confirmed cases of novel H1N1 flu in humans see Novel H1N1 Flu Situation Update.

What are the symptoms of swine flu in humans?
The symptoms of swine flu in people are expected to be similar to the symptoms of regular human seasonal influenza and include fever, lethargy, lack of appetite and coughing. Some people with swine flu also have reported runny nose, sore throat, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.

Can people catch swine flu from eating pork?
No. Swine influenza viruses are not transmitted by food. You can not get swine influenza from eating pork or pork products. Eating properly handled and cooked pork and pork products is safe. Cooking pork to an internal temperature of 160°F kills the swine flu virus as it does other bacteria and viruses.

How does swine flu spread?
Influenza viruses can be directly transmitted from pigs to people and from people to pigs. Human infection with flu viruses from pigs are most likely to occur when people are in close proximity to infected pigs, such as in pig barns and livestock exhibits housing pigs at fairs. Human-to-human transmission of swine flu can also occur. This is thought to occur in the same way as seasonal flu occurs in people, which is mainly person-to-person transmission through coughing or sneezing of people infected with the influenza virus. People may become infected by touching something with flu viruses on it and then touching their mouth or nose.

What do we know about human-to-human spread of swine flu?
In September 1988, a previously healthy 32-year-old pregnant woman was hospitalized for pneumonia and died 8 days later. A swine H1N1 flu virus was detected. Four days before getting sick, the patient visited a county fair swine exhibition where there was widespread influenza-like illness among the swine.

In follow-up studies, 76% of swine exhibitors tested had antibody evidence of swine flu infection but no serious illnesses were detected among this group. Additional studies suggest that one to three health care personnel who had contact with the patient developed mild influenza-like illnesses with antibody evidence of swine flu infection.

How can human infections with swine influenza be diagnosed?
To diagnose swine influenza A infection, a respiratory specimen would generally need to be collected within the first 4 to 5 days of illness (when an infected person is most likely to be shedding virus). However, some persons, especially children, may shed virus for 7 days or longer. Identification as a swine flu influenza A virus requires sending the specimen to CDC for laboratory testing.

What medications are available to treat swine flu infections in humans?
There are four different antiviral drugs that are licensed for use in the US for the treatment of influenza: amantadine, rimantadine, oseltamivir and zanamivir. While most swine influenza viruses have been susceptible to all four drugs, the most recent H1N1 influenza viruses isolated from humans are resistant to amantadine and rimantadine.

What other examples of swine flu outbreaks are there?
Probably the most well known is an outbreak of swine flu among soldiers in Fort Dix, New Jersey in 1976. The virus caused disease with x-ray evidence of pneumonia in at least 4 soldiers and 1 death; all of these patients had previously been healthy. The virus was transmitted to close contacts in a basic training environment, with limited transmission outside the basic training group. The virus is thought to have circulated for a month and disappeared. The source of the virus, the exact time of its introduction into Fort Dix, and factors limiting its spread and duration are unknown. The Fort Dix outbreak may have been caused by introduction of an animal virus into a stressed human population in close contact in crowded facilities during the winter. The swine influenza A virus collected from a Fort Dix soldier was named A/New Jersey/76 (Hsw1N1).

The Greasy Pole Up The Fourth Floor

Climbing up all the way to the fourth floor will be as high as a mountain but harder to climb.
If the pole leading to our office is to be greased in March, I don't think many high level politicians and businessmen will visit and seek our advise or consent anymore. Therefore, we'll find ourselves climbing into an empty office which was once known as the infamous Fourth Floor.

But need we climb up that greasy pole any longer? why should we? if our pockets are full, why not tighten up, burn some files, pack the rest and climb down for good? hmm...hope for a soft landing and hit the road.

Maybe we Lasallians can learn some important lessons in life and on life if we be a lil more observant...

I'm quite ignorant when it comes to dirty politics and corruption... But we never know, maybe the father-in-law has learned to Speak Softly And Carry A Big Stick... Well, the "speak softly" part is for sure...

We have learned many things from our previous leaders and predecessors... some are dead and some are living.. But I hope Dr. Khir Toyo didn't learn too much from Dato' Harun Idris.... the Menteri Besar of Selangor 1964-1976.....

Don't mess with UMNO !!!

BN seizes Perak?? Just read that Dato' Najib today declared BN seized Perak.
He'll seek an audience with Sultan of Perak Raja Azlan Shah probably tomorrow or the day after to get His Royal highness' consent to change administration.
Meanwhile Pakatan is still pushing for a fresh state elections.... a lil late perhaps?
Well Perak had always been on a slippery slop after March8.
See, we shouldn't mess with UMNO.. afterall, they're the largest Political Organization in Malaysia with over 3 million member... said to have spent more than 400 million in the Kuala Terengganu by-election.
30 coins of silver for anybody else !!! mari mari mari!! lompat lompat !!!

WANTED : The Leong Brothers

Yesterday, I paid a visit to Rev. Bro. Lawrence in Cheras.
The founder was taking his afternoon nap and so I waited awhile. Managed to get an audience with him later on. I then presented Bro Lawrence with certain gifts before he told me the story of La Salle PJ and the days when he was in Changi Prison during WW2.

In his room, was a new tv set. He received it one day and told me that he would like to thank the chaps who presented it to him. However, Bro. Lawrence only had their names (Michael Leong, Peter Leong and David Leong) So I suggested that he wrote a note and I'd try my best to see it through.

Below is the "Thank you" note written by Rev. Bro. Lawrence himself and a short video of him showing me his 64 year old book from Changi Prison.

"Prison Cookhouse"

"To The Leong Brothers- Thank you for the giftof a TV. It is a precious Treasure.

Open Letter to De Facto Head Prefect of LSPJ.

Khairul,

I know a number of students who shrugged their shoulders to you when you ran in the Head Prefect Elections. They somewhat despised you for you had only joined us in form4. Here in La Salle PJ, we believe in having the best man for the job. And most certainly, you're the one!
Although being sidelined, you now have not much of a choice but to accept the humble position as the so called "Second in command" Not because you don't deserve the No.1 post but we have to be realistic. We're in Malaysia my friend.

Be that as it may, the Form One students had began to experience the life of being a Lasallian and, a handful of them will inevitably be selected into probation as a prefect. Previously, the prefects were once known as ''White Dogs" then later known as "Pulen's Puppets". Well at least a dog barks.. but a puppet is nothing more than a dummy.. don't you think so?
It's like wadafuck??

Bottom line, Take in prefects with minds of their own. We should be all-rounders; having the gung-ho ones, the smart ones and the smart-alec ones too. But in line with our agenda of course!

Before this turns into a scripture, here I wish you the best in administering the Prefect Body because all these are beyond my power.. I'm merely a blogger.

May I wish you a great leadership.
Yours Sincerely,
Lasallepjdude

Politics and Sex

Malaysian Politics.

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
I'd rather compare thee to sex.

Malaysian politics are somewhat like sex...

One side says : I'm so good at this, that's why you keep coming back to me.
I keep you satisfied...have been for the pass 50 years!!

The other side says : I'm cumming, I'm cumming !!! from September 16 to
End of the year..
I'm cumming!!
Now we know that they are slow squirters..or were those just fake orgasms?

One thing I'm very very certain in politics; You gotta watch your back. your own back!!!

Charge Of The Lightheaded

Half a league, half a league,
Half a league onward,
All in the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.
"Forward, the Light Brigade!
"Charge for the guns!" he said:
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.

My dearest Lasallian brothers and sisters, as we know, there are those including a renown visionary calling for the boycott of American products, and urging Malaysians working in American companies to resign.

We as Lasallians may empathize with the innocent people being massacred in Palestine. And we bloody should.
But it will be most unwise to boycott Uncle Sam.
Ahh... what if we stop buying Coke from our canteen and stop dining at McDonald's...Would that do any good? The answer is YES !!! For health reasons...

If we impose an embargo on the yankees, It will be The Charge of The Lightheaded Malaysians. we would be digging our own graves as Coke is manufactured by F&N in Malaysia and half of McDonalds is owned by Datuk VK Lingam's friend Tycoon Vincent Tan. Amway? Will Citibank become Shitibank?? One thing I know for sure is with all these jobs lost,we shall have plenty of dust to bite on.

But then again, I'm no economist.. just a Lasallian.

La Salle PJ turns 50

Dear Lasallians,

It was 50 years ago today when La Salle PJ started giving education to the public.
I recall the brief moments I had with Rev. Bro. Lawrence Spitzig the founder of our school. He'd tell me how it all started.. How he'd raised funds for the school.
We had a lucky draw.. the prize was a Ford Prefect.. sponsored by the car company.
The tickets...I quote him say "and they sold like hot cakes"
Those days, the Brothers carry canes and whips. Nowadays, discipline teachers carry cigarettes.... very tempting... must be the carrot and the stick thing eh?

50 years later..We are facing many obstacles including disciplinary and financial.. and yet, many of us seem to be in the comfort zone still. But you cant say we didn't do anything... too many having the common civil servant mentality with only futile gestures.

Golden Jubilee

We will be celebrating our Golden Jubilee this Saturday 10th January 2009 in school.
I hope our old boys and girls will be there to support. Kindly pass the word around.

Cheers.

"That you may never sully her name"

Back to school again,
Gonna play the fool again,
Then like many Lasallians;
Results will be beneath contempt.
padan muka!! lolz

2009 is gonna be filled with excitement for La Salla PJ !!
It's almost like when the clock strikes 3 in the morning..
It isn't really a dilemma but a predicament rather. For she who wields the weapon pulls no trigger. An escapade for many. Well, more liberty we may call it.
Speaking of triggers, I'd like to also express my empathy and concern for the innocent ones in Palestine.

So, school reopens on Monday and I wish all Lasallians a good semester. There will be a bunch a new form3 and form 4 girls in Assunta I know.. Have your share of fun but don't neglect you
r studies aight. Boys will be boys but whatever you do, never sully her name.
And those wishing to buy and sell used textbooks, you may try your luck here.

Have a nice day!

Merry Christmas And A Happy New Year

I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May 2009 be a better year for all of us. But I doubt it will be for La Salle PJ. Why?

Well, we've been deprived of a principal for over half a year now.. and guess who's gonna be the new boss around? It's Pn. Lilly !!
She was kicked upstairs to La Salle Klang for over a year and 2009, she's coming here.
When I first heard of this, I felt aghast like any other lasallian would.
It's gonna be all out self-indulgence for us in La Salle PJ 2009 ey?
Not to be pessimistic but it could turn out to be academic annihilation.

Pn. Lilly is a very nice person who can always spare time for us if and when we seek her advice or anything of that sort. She is a dear lady indeed and there's absolutely no question about her PR skills.
But other things I dare not guarantee.

Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year.

SPM and STPM are both over. Our school will be all empty and quiet again.

Lasallians always have softhearts but many also have a heart for library books. SO for those who had accidentally brought home any books from the MBPJ library on purpose, please remember to return them after your exams. If you fear that the alarm may go off, just put it by the stairs outside and tell the guard you found it. No problem at all..
Happy holidays to all.

Lasallian Courage Displayed?

Cheer, cheer and courage display
All you Lasallians join in the lay
Send a volley of cheers on high
IT'S CHEERS ON HIGH, NOT FLAMES ON HIGH!!

Our school's financial position is already pared to the bone and today it came to us as a shock discovering that the guardhouse was burnt. This has been reported and blah blah blah.
It's a hideous act and we can clearly see that the nob of the problem lies within lspj itself for making concessions so much so lspj is gradually becoming a sanctuary for these little fucklets.

This matter will be discussed at the Lasallian Blueprint in school (Saturday 6th Dec 2008) 2 PM to 5PM
Hope to see you there.
Cheers

Open Topic

After the recent uproars regarding this 'big deal' of a blog, I thought it was time for an 'Open Topic' so we can stay sober and be able to see whats really going on in a better perspective. At the same time being able to see through the facade and window dressing thats being shown to us by almost everyone!!

So, I'd like to post this open topic here where anyone. I mean ANYONE can and please do comment your views and suggestions...even the oddest of us. After all, eccentricity can be a virtue isn't it?
Amongst the comments, please feel free to post any questions.

Now may I start by posting a few random questions.

1) Now, with La Salle PJ's strongman Mr.Raj gone, we are surely going to survive but how are we going to bring back that sort of glory we had during the short period of the Raj era?

2) From time to time, we see Mr.Chua (penolong ketua hal ehwal murid)doing his rounds by walking round the whole school..telling students to clean up their classes. Good man !! And we often see him standing by the school gate in the mornings just to remind you that YOU'RE LATE.. He is genuinely concerned for us..however, some say that his actions are an extravagant. think so?

3) We often see teachers from La Salle PJ walking out to the nearby Raju's and Paaaandi's restaurant to eat and drink.. they always tell us we can't do the same.. but are they actually allowed to walk in and out of school freely during working hours as they are civil servants... ??

Thats all for now, thanks !!

Rules and Regulations In Our Little Cyber Playground

Just woke up..so a bit stoned now. Today is a self-declared holiday for me. Just decided to take a day off. Ok so lets get straight to the point here.

Lately, there were a number of parties who tried to spread rumors on this blog about certain teachers. And there's an enormous amount of pressure on me to do something with this blog. I have given it some thought and I'll like to have the "House Rules" promulgated. After all, we don't want to jeopardize the image of our glorious La Salle PJ.

RULES FOR COMMENTING HERE :

1) Avoid using vulgar language
2) Avoid personal attacks
3) Avoid making false allegations

simple isn't it?
Let this be a place where we can voice out our thoughts, listen to others, solve our problems. A healthy place for networking.

Should there be any other cases like the Election Scandal or Kavesh Precedent, I feel we should tackle the problem in a more gentleman and matured manner or course without forsaking our main objective.

SO may we follow the Golden Rule
'Do unto others as we'd have them do unto us'
and make life easier for everyone.

From now on, anyone may post any form of comment as long as it abides the house rules.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Second And Probably Final Chapter of A Precedent Of A President

Last night, numerous messages came in and to my surprise, my friends told me that apparently Kavesh had posted a comment on this blog about some public apology.
After reading its contents, I understood from it that school had an 'Emergency MD Meeting' to resolve this Interact issue.

So it seems that we had stirred up a storm in school and things were getting more and more critical as we are nearing the Installation Day on friday while tension was also building up tremendously to boycott the installation.

They say that this blog was hideous and hurtled up to cause a rift between teachers and students. Let me make this abundantly clear that this is not in anyway a gross distortion of the truth. I may not have the complete facts but then again, who has?
Thats why People comment their knowledge and views here.
Some telling FACTS, some telling FUCKS. lol

And so MD along with a number of representatives of the PIBG and Ex-Lasallians came up with a compromise. Here it goes : kavesh has to apologize to Pn.Sheela.
And he did so today.
So kavesh gets his ban lifted, gets to give his presidential speech and his certs.
However, theres a snag..Pn.Sheela had just imposed a ban on Rubesh. Meaning the poor lad shan't be going for installation.

Now our main objective has been achieved and I want to thank everyone who had posted any comments on this blog whether for or against Kavesh.
And I urge everyone to attend the Installation as we have officially lifted our boycott.

If not mistaken, Winston Churchill once said 'If we get them by the balls, their minds and body will follow' or something like that...
I also thank all who had supplied me information and advise on this issue.
Giving us the courage and wisdom to use whatever little resources we have to put a
leverage on it.
For all parties that feel or felt offended, I really empathize.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the 'war' is over.. :P

A Precedent Of A President *updated*

Most of us know Sheela...Im very certain you've seen her before. She's not easy to miss and she's no longer a miss. Well, what about Pn. Sheela?

Firstly, she is an extraordinary teacher..superb in fact. Some say that she's very demanding... well, maybe she has to..coz she plays a big role in our school. There's absolutely no doubt about her being a heavyweight and the backbone of our school.

Does the name Kavesh ring a bell? He is one of the most respected students in school. a very humble and modest person.. really friendly chap. He's also the President of Interact Club.
Recently, I learnt that he was suspended from school. Being concerned, I asked my friends about this.

It is tradition for the Interact Club's Board of Directors photo to only have the BODs thats why they call it BOD photo. so this year, it was the same..
When Pn.Sheela saw it, she insisted to be in the photo. so when Kavesh told her that it was their tradition and hope that she understands, she still refused and shouted at kavesh.

Pn. Sheela later told the other BODs that Interact will be taking a new photo with Sheela and without kavesh. man..this is too much!!
So, kavesh and Rubesh along with a few others went up to Pn. Sheela to clarify the matter. When being unable to resolve to issue, Sheela chased them out of the staffroom. And guess what? Sheela wrote a note to a discipline teacher saying kavesh had used vulgar language at her..when actually he didn't..who would be stupid enough to say FUCK YOU to a teacher? and so they sent him to Majlis Disiplin.

And during MD, there were also other charges.. 'Kavesh menipu cikgu', and yea..it also said that money from the club went missing and kavesh is the suspect.
So, kavesh tried to defend and speak up for himself..each time he tried, they shut him up.
About the money part, yes, there was a bit of money which was misplaced by one of the BODs and kavesh used his own money to replace it back. but they won't listen would they?

And so teachers in MD decided to suspend kavesh. No wonder we didn't see him for awhile. This is totally unfair..I was appalled when I heard about this.
It's like when Mahathir was uncomfortable with Anwar, just press some cocked up charges like sodomy and send him to jail.

How can Sheela make such false allegations and how can MD be so unreasonable??
the behavior of these teachers are savagery and impulsive.

Think about it
Scream about it

Some of us would have heard of the ICC Charity Concert awhile ago. Everyone who attended, had to pay for their own ticket. Pn. Sheela was told the she inevitably had to pay for her own ticket too. Quite reasonable isn't it?
However, she was antagonized and she refused to attend saying she wasn't free.
Kids don't get their rice pudding all the time you know...lol
I learnt about this only recently. Apparently, this embarrassing issue was swept under the carpet. So she had the files under wraps ey.. well, truth will out.

Poor Kavesh has to bite the bullet while gritting his teeth. But Kavesh, we are with you.

At this rates, it will be a catastrophe in La Salle PJ before long.

La Salle PJ is here to stay, but this does not mean that we have to bow the knee to every directive.

A recount today?

Today I managed to get the evidence across to Khairul and told him to report about this scandal. I'm not sure what exactly he did or who he consulted over this issue but word was going round that there's going to be a recount today.

I'm glad that something is being done on the other hand, I am still worried that whoever is doing the recount will suppress the truth or even change the ballots again.

But one thing I must say is that I won't be too surprise if they counted Arhwin with majority votes again. After all, it's not that hard for Datuk VK Pulen to manipulate this isn't it? lolz

I hope to see our legitimate Head Prefect Khairul be pronounced and sworn in during their prefect's installation. Khairul, may the truth prevail!!

Update on Election Scandal

Last night, I was considering deeply on various courses of action to unveil this profoundly embarrassing scandal. Not just by posting whatever I managed to discover on this blog, but also to bring it to the relevant people.

Its not easy..know why? because most people only know what is superficial. In order to unearth and root out this shameful misconduct and breach of trust of certain teachers,
we have to be tactful and trespass into their privacy.

You see, how can we let anyone know who we are when we have to intrude and do these CIA, CSI, CNN and everything... I know it's a misfeasance but how else to find out the truth?

I have gathered various evidence so far and will pass it to Khairul.. not Arhwin of course. He'd be the first to destroy them even before Pulen tells him to. LOLZ
Well, the reason for passing it to Khairul is because he is the rightful winner who was sidelined.
Probably on Wednesday or Thursday. But here are some of the evidence that I will pass to him. And a note as well. Somehow or rather it will be done.

1400 phantom voters??

In the midst of today's extremely long assembly, Mr.Pulen when called upon had announced the new Head Prefect. Ah so it's Arhwin.. It didn't quite come out the way I predicted it to.

A friend came to me and asked : 'you were saying ?'
So I spent most of today in school talking to people to gather more info on this matter.
Because for me its really strange why Mr.Pulen did what he did on Friday.

From my previous post, remember the 2 photos? I didn't mention that after taking those photos, I closed the drawer and left. however today, feeling puzzled, I went to his desk again after school to try to resolve this 'mystery' The ballots were still there (those that were tempered with). But I found more..Narandra's ballots were there as well.
And so, I decided to take them home. I wanted safeguard the evidence before somebody (pulen) destroys them. Action will be taken :)
We mustn't have a feeble Head Prefect such as Arhwin and thats the whole point of having a fucking election isn't it? But of course I do him an injustice if this would turn up to be a misunderstanding after all. Thats why I'm going to investigate this with a little help from my friends.

Ahhhh.....!!! wtf...Can we just have a transparent re-election ?

Oh, guess what? A Fraud

As we know, today is election day and they came class by class to give out the ballot paper and to collect them on the spot.

And so I casted my vote. There wasn't much talk about the candidates or about the election at all. It's so different this year :(

After school today, I stayed back awhile since there wasn't tuition today. And the big guns like Rooban, zi wei, raymond and a few others were seen at the APD room sorting the ballots with mr. pulen and mr.vijayan. As soon as they were done, some left..the others had to stay back for the afternoon polls.

Being a Lasallian, I went in the staffroom when mr.pulen was away and took a look at the box. well, it was empty and the ballots were already divided to 4. I managed to see something 'shocking' that was, on mr.pulen's desk, there was another box containing unused ballots and those that were tempered with. meaning, after separating the votes, mr.pulen had taken away a number of votes totaling up to 150-200 that went to Arhwin and Khairul.
here are some pictures I took.luckily I brought my camera today..hehe

They were removed and probably added in with votes in favor of Narandra.. Now how bout Tong Beng Hua? well, he's small potatoes..not many voted for him.. poor thing huh? I heard some form5 students making fun of Tong by saying : Tong, I heard nobody voted for you?
LOLZ

So my guess is this, Mr. Pulen will announce on Monday that Narandra won by about a hundred votes..well, we shall wait and see anyway.

Our 'democratic' system should be pure and unsullied by such appalling cynicism!!
I strongly feel that all Lasallian in LSPJ have been deceived by mr. Pulen.

Hail mr. head prefect..your kingdom come!!

Today, the man who thinks he runs the school...Mr. Pulen introduced our 4 Head Prefect candidates during assembly.
It was rather premature for him to announce the names at this point. Now why do I say that?

The reason is simply because most of our probates are barely ready to uphold the responsibilities of the so called prestiges prefectorial board.

They say that Taman Petaling is a monkey school where monkeys cause a catastrophe. Well, you see..we must know that La Salle PJ is somewhat similar .. we have what we call : LASALLIANS !!! although proud to be one.lol
It's no bed of roses to be a good prefect unless you're another Anthony Blunt.

And that is why the time isn't appropriate to announce our 4 Head Prefect hopefuls.
By the way, Narendra started his campaigning today and it was all senseless drivel.

Keep the comments coming!!

Wednesday Bloody Wednesday

It was a today,Wednesday bloody Wednesday when the cries of Pn. Devi Maniam and
Mr. Pulendran filled the free La Salle PJ air. The assembly which was usually conducted in a easy-going manner had a twist today. It was another one of those 'Operasi' . Strange as it may seem, for students, they had always been wearing their club t-shirt regardless of collar on Wednesdays.

In the weeks before, all that they do is just warn students.. but today they ordered prefects to check and pull out students with Mr. Pulen shouting 'Pengakap, apa pengakap..KELUAR!!! '
lol that was kinda funny actually. but wtf?

It would appear that shortly after La Salle PJ's strongman has left, some of them are actually trying to seize power..or trying to run the school in an orderly fashion as they call it.
Please share your thought on this..

Well, just to inform, Mr. Raj has got himself a job in MAHSA College not as a lecturer but as an administrator.

What happens now?

It was like Independence Day in La Salle PJ on 23rd May 2008 when
principal Mr. A. Rajenthran was given a grand farewell.

So what happens now? i understand that the school will not be having a replacement immediately... perhaps in 2 or 3 months.. La Salle without a principle will be a school of 'havoc' as they call it.
well at least that's what some say.

It's been rumoured that our PK1 stated that she would refuse the top job if
offered as she herself will be retiring in about 2 years. There are some who
say that Pn. Sushila might be posted over here as principal.

So which direction are we heading at this juncture?
I don't know.. I really don't know.
kindly share your views. :P
